Sauce, the street food deli
Sauce is a deliciously different style of mobile takeaway and caterer.
We use locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients showcasing the abundance of local producers and suppliers available here in beautiful Somerset.
A visit to Sauce is an exciting and interactive dining experience; the menu gives you a base to build upon while a mouth-watering array of extras allows you to go on and create your perfect meal.
Our wraps and boxes offer superb value making us great for families. A largely vegetarian menu is perfect for vegetarians and vegans.
You can dine with us, or takeaway at our pop-up restaurant in The Market House, Castle Cary every Friday evening. On Sundays, join us for The Alternative Sunday Lunch at Eli's (Rose & Crown), Huish Episcopi, Langport.
We will be popping up at a few more venues over the summer, check our socials or the calendar below to find out where. The Sauce kitchen is also available to hire, enquire below.
Our menu
We offer sides, salads and spiced meats. As well as sourcing local ingredients, we blend or own spices and all of our food is homemade and freshly cooked.
Working with seasonal produce means our menu slowly changes as the weeks go by but you can always expect to find a couple of warm vegetable dishes, a couple of cold salads and a spiced meat. Our favourite flavour is Berbere, but Sazon and Cajun make regular appearances.
And that's just the menu. On top of this you can add to your meal with cheese, charcuterie, bread, olives, sauces, toppings, oils and dressings.
Deliciously different, the Sauce kitchen brings you a world of flavour with Somerset at it's heart.
